My new year’s resolution, well one of them at least, is to get better at this journaling thing.
Things are a little hectic in the Jones house these days. With two little ones running around, one not even five months old yet and another little bundle of joy on the way it’s hard to find time to sit down and do much of anything. Especially something that requires more than .5% of your attention. Not that I’m complaining. There isn’t an aspect of my life that I would trade. And on top of that, I truly believe we are all in the situations we are by our own doing.
In a little over a month, Avery will be turning three and that will start the trend of birthdays. We have a slight break in between his and then next three so that’s always nice. It’ll give us time to plan and prepare. Ajay’s is in May, mine in June and then the baby is due in July. From there we skip to September for Albey and of course, Trish rounds us up in December. It’s almost to the point where if we’re not celebrating a holiday, we’re celebrating a birthday. Just another of many things that’ll keep us on our toes.
Before I cover some work stuff, I wanted to mention the recent wedding I had the privilege of taking part in. This past Thursday, Frankie and Traci made their relationship official and I was one of the lucky three guys that stood up for him. The ceremony and everything involved was absolutely beautiful. Who knew a bunch of wrestlers, knockouts and a diva(!) could clean up so well? Speaking of said Diva, it was really nice getting to catch up with you.
All of this wedding talk makes me feel is only right to mention that Trisha and I have been married for 18 days. I know the date of the nuptials made for some hectic times, but I do want to thank those who came out as well as those who sent their well wishes because they couldn’t make it. Waking up with my new wife in my arms truly is the best Christmas gift I have ever received.
Work is going really well. Between working with Kurt and all the new (okay, some aren‘t so new) faces coming in, I can’t help be excited for not only my own future, but the future of the company as well. May will be eight years since I first made my debut in TNA and honestly? It’s been one heck of a ride. It goes without saying that it hasn’t always been smooth sailing but that’s what makes the positive outcomes mean so much more. I was taught early in life that nothing worth having is ever handed to you. So if you have to work for it? Well, then it’s something really special.
Until next time, AJ
And when I bow my head tonight There'll be no me myself and I Just watch my wife and kids please lord That's all I ask for any more
